Relying on all available resources, Microsoft is trying to attract more users to the Edge. In the latest action, the browser has been released via Windows Update.
Microsoft has recently begun the process of releasing the Microsoft Edge browser through the Windows 10 Update section, called Windows Update, to make this browser available to a number of users' computers. The new version of the Edge, which is based on the chrome engine, was released last January and has managed to attract a lot of users in recent months.
Prior to Microsoft's move, Windows users had to download Edge to their system as access through the browser's website. Microsoft says in a new statement that Edge has been released via Windows Update, which means that the browser in question will soon be installed on the computers of more than one billion people worldwide.
